Privacy Policy

Preface And Overview

OriginalChristianity.net is a site that provides information about original, primitive Christianity and how it developed over the ages to the state that it is in currently, with an emphasis on how beliefs and practices at different stages compare to scripture.

OriginalChristianity.net (OC) runs google ads (a third-party service) on this site to help defray the cost, and hopefully at some time to generate some income so it will help us if you respond to ads that interest you. OriginalChristianity.net does not sell the information that it gathers itself.

Years ago OriginalChristianity.net stopped keeping comments open in general because as the number of posts grew so did the volume of spam comments that required moderation and the spam filter plug-ins were not keeping up. However, from time to time OC does open a new or older post to comments which may collect the name, email, URL, IP address, date, time, as well as the comment itself, all of which is stored by the website.

(As regards other posts without comments turned on you can always use the comments page to make a comment, which will be emailed to me and possibly added to the post.)

However, the above only covers OriginalChristianity.net, Google Ads does collect some information and their handling of it is described in their privacy policy, located at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
